Emerald Necklace Conservancy: Arborway Hillside

This hillside faces the Arnold Arboretum and is prominently visible to drivers on the Arborway parkway. Along the foot of the hillside, perhaps 100-150 feet of the parkway edge, there is one prominent dead tree trunk (approx 21 inch dbh and <15 ft high) as well as perhaps 6 more trees with dead or broken limbs. There is plenty of room off the side of the parkway for a minor truck. This is not a lot of work and it would make a big difference in the appearance of the parkway edge.
